Delphos arranged a loan of $9.7 million from the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (“OPIC”) to purchase fiber capacity, voice over IP equipment, and last mile wireless access equipment, as well as finance working capital and refinance high-cost leases for Newcom, Ltd. Newcom is an integrated broadband communications services provider, who was looking to expand its network infrastructure and service capabilities in Central America.
